King & Spalding

One of Atlanta’s largest law firms and a repeat client, King & Spalding was a multiphase, two-year project spanning 11 floors at 1180 Peachtree. The 227,600 SF project included one administrative floor, two amenity/conference center floors, and eight practice floors. The two amenity floors were the showcase floors, with mostly stone floors throughout, sheetrock ceilings, back-lit metal art walls, glass fronts, heavy millwork, and AV, including the main reception area and multiple conference rooms of all sizes and uses. The build-out included a convenience stair with an exposed metal tread and a glass railing, separate from a monumental scissor stair featuring a stretched fabric ceiling and a custom teardrop chandelier. We also constructed a new elevator for food service, a large dining and gathering area on the top floor, and an adjoining 20,000 SF exterior terrace/event space on the roof of the parking deck.
